Of the four peo­ple who spoke at a pub­lic hear­ing re­cently on the fu­ture of the Kent Nar­rows, two were more con­cerned with what was not in­cluded in a pro­posed zon­ing or­di­nance or a de­vel­op­ment plan the Queen Anne’s County Com­mis­sion­ers now are con­sid­er­ing.

The pro­pos­als need to in­clude a noise or­di­nance too they said.

“I don’t see a de­vel­op­ment plan go­ing for­ward with­out noise be­ing con­sid­ered,” said Frank Beach­ley, pres­i­dent of the Oys­ter Cover Home­own­ers As­so­ci­a­tion, rep­re­sent­ing about 100 home own­ers who live along the Gra­sonville side of the Nar­rows.

Res­i­dent on both sides of the Nar­rows have of­ten com­plained about loud mu­sic
