Lorraine C. Cook
CENTREVILLE — Lorraine C. Cook of Centreville, Md., passed away on February 18, 2017 at her home on the family farm, surrounded by her family. She was 83.
Born on July 17, 1933 in Queen Anne, Md., the daughter of the late Hazel and Lillian Connolly Callaway. She grew up in Queen Anne and Centreville and graduated from Centreville High School, Class of 1951.
Lorraine married Howard T. Cook on Aug. 23, 1952 and they moved to Centreville. She worked for the State of Maryland Taxation and Assessment office in Centreville for 30 years. Lorraine loved the outdoors, watching her children and grandchildren play sports and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Howard T. Cook of Centreville, Md.; daughter, Susan C. Wolff (Bob) of Centreville; son, Tom Cook (Laura) of Centreville; six grandchildren: Jake Cook (Shaena); Julia Cook; Tyler Wolff; Joey Wolff (Renee); Chris Wolf (Katie); Scott Wolff (Rachel); four great grandchildren: Savannah; Luke; Cooper and Leah. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Cook; and brother, Hazel “Toby” Callaway.
Services were held on Thursday, February 23, 1 p.m. at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., where a visitation was held beginning at 11 a.m. Burial followed in the Chesterfield Cemetery.

Mr. Plummer worked as a selfemployed waterman for several years until taking a job with Long Cove Marina. He worked side by side with Mort Deckelman for the past 40 years. Mr. Plummer was known for his knack of finding fish and loved fishing on his boat, “Lil Noel.” He also enjoyed hunting.
In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by a daughter, Melissa Plummer Winborne of Willow Grove, Del.; two sons, Jackie Plummer and wife Hilda of Chestertown and Jamie Plummer and wife Anne of Rock Hall; two sisters, Esther Harrison of Rock Hall and Mary Jane Harrison of Louisiana; and seven grandchildren, April, Michael, Noel, Amanda, Jamie, Charles Nikerson Jr. and Eli Yoder. He was predeceased by a sister, Minnie Mae Hepbron.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 20, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Chestertown,.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington. Services will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Crumpton Cemetery in Crumpton.
