Li­brary hosts man­ners for preschool­ers

STEVENSVILLE — On Thurs­day, March 9, at 10:30 a.m., the Kent Is­land Branch of the Queen Anne’s County Free Li­brary presents Man­ners for Preschool­ers in part­ner­ship with 721 on Main and Diane Cook­son.

“It’s never too early for a child to learn ba­sic man­ners and how to get along with other peo­ple. Please join us for fun, games and learn­ing man­ners,” said Diane Cook­son, who coaches chil­dren, tweens, teens and adults in man­ners, eti­quette and pro­fes­sion­al­ism with the goal of build­ing their con­fi­dence and de­vel­op­ing strong so­cial and life skills.

Man­ners for Preschool­ers is de­signed for chil­dren from ages 3 to 5 and their care­giv- ers. The hour-long ses­sion will in­clude play time, in­struc­tion, and a ques­tion and an­swer pe­riod.

The event is of­fered free of charge with sup­port from Diane Cook­son and 721 on Main. 721 On Main, lo­cated in his­toric Stevensville, is a con­ve­nient multi-pur­pose prop­erty that offers ex­ec­u­tive of­fice leas­ing, apart­ment rentals and stor­age space rental.
