SUDLERSVILLE — Ralph Ju­nior Wil­son of Sudlersville died Sun­day, Feb. 26, 2017, at Au­tumn Lake Health­care at Chestertown. He was 81.

Born Sept 17, 1935, in Floyd County, Va., he was the son of the late John Ed­ward and Evie Stump Wil­son. He at­tended school and later started work­ing with his fa­ther at a young age in the tim­ber in­dus­try. In 1961, he started work­ing for Ch­e­sa­peake Steel in Milling­ton and re­tired in 1994.

Mr. Wil­son is sur­vived by his wife, the for­mer Florence Vi­vian “Patsy” Pow­ell whom he mar­ried Dec. 8, 1973; one son, James “Butch” El­wood Walls of Bal­ti­more; a daugh­ter, Vicky Lynn Mar­vel of Chestertown; three broth­ers, Bill Wil­son of Townsend, Del., Marvin Wil­son of Ce­cil­ton and Wayne Wil­son of Jacksonville, Fla.; five sis­ters, Sylvia Spradlin of Rich­mond, Va., Clorine Kidd of Co­ry­don, Ind., Bonnie Traviers of New Cas­tle, Del., Betty Lou Lupher of Ch­e­sa­peake City and Mary Ellen Ran­dall of New Cas­tle, Del.; two grand­daugh­ters, Lind­say Mar­vel O’Han­lon of Milling­ton and Marissa Hy­land of Chestertown; and two grand­sons, Caleb Mar­vel of Milling­ton and Brad Walls of Dover, Del.

He was pre­ceded in death by a brother, Everett Lee Wil­son, who died in 1953.

A visi­ta­tion will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Fri­day, March 3, at Fel­lows Fam­ily Fu­neral Home, 370 Cy­press St., Milling­ton. Ser­vices will be held at noon also at the fu­neral home. In­ter­ment will be held in Crump­ton Ceme­tery in Crump­ton fol­low­ing the ser­vice.
