Community asked to take survey
CENTREVILLE — Character Counts announces the Six Pillars Personal Inventory Survey is now available online. The Six Pillars Personal Inventory is offered to the citizens of Queen Anne’s County and local students every other year. The program is seeking local community members and students in grades 5-12 to help them compile statistical information on the Character Counts program. The survey this year will be available through April 30.
The survey helps to measure the impact of the Character Counts program and its fundamental principles, including the Six Pillars of Character, Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship, within the community.
Thanks to the Queen Anne’s County Board of Education Technology Department, Character Counts is able to offer the survey on line. To participate, go to: survey.qacps.k12.md.us/ Checkbox/SixPillarsPersonalInventory.aspx or access the survey through the Character Counts website at www. peopleofcharacter.org/highlights. Paper copies of the survey will be available throughout the community or by contacting coordinator Elaine Butler at 410-758-6677 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
“We appreciate all those who have participated in the past and are willing to help us this year. Statistical data is compiled, interpreted and reported the Governor’s Office of Children for continued grant funding to support our local Character Counts program. We will upload the results once they have been compiled and interpreted,” Butler said.
