Com­mu­nity asked to take sur­vey

CENTREVILLE — Char­ac­ter Counts an­nounces the Six Pil­lars Per­sonal In­ven­tory Sur­vey is now avail­able on­line. The Six Pil­lars Per­sonal In­ven­tory is of­fered to the cit­i­zens of Queen Anne’s County and lo­cal stu­dents ev­ery other year. The pro­gram is seek­ing lo­cal com­mu­nity mem­bers and stu­dents in grades 5-12 to help them com­pile sta­tis­ti­cal in­for­ma­tion on the Char­ac­ter Counts pro­gram. The sur­vey this year will be avail­able through April 30.

The sur­vey helps to mea­sure the im­pact of the Char­ac­ter Counts pro­gram and its fun­da­men­tal prin­ci­ples, in­clud­ing the Six Pil­lars of Char­ac­ter, Trust­wor­thi­ness, Re­spect, Re­spon­si­bil­ity, Fairness, Car­ing and Cit­i­zen­ship, within the com­mu­nity.

Thanks to the Queen Anne’s County Board of Ed­u­ca­tion Tech­nol­ogy Depart­ment, Char­ac­ter Counts is able to of­fer the sur­vey on line. “We ap­pre­ci­ate all those who have par­tic­i­pated in the past and are will­ing to help us this year. Sta­tis­ti­cal data is com­piled, in­ter­preted and re­ported the Gov­er­nor’s Of­fice of Chil­dren for con­tin­ued grant fund­ing to sup­port our lo­cal Char­ac­ter Counts pro­gram. We will up­load the re­sults once they have been com­piled and in­ter­preted,” But­ler said.
