Guild to host Spring Arts, Crafts Show
ROCK HALL — The Country Crafts Guild will host its annual Spring Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, March 25, at the Rock Hall Fire House on Rt. 20. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and proceeds from the $2 admission will benefit the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company. Children under ten are admitted for free.
Refreshments and lunch will be available on top of a bake sale by the Rock Hall Fire Company Ladies Auxiliar y.
The Country Crafts Guild members will have a wide variety of beautiful spring flowers, decorations and crafts on display. Handmade collectibles such as house plaques and figurines, potter y lamps, vases and dishes, pieced quilts and rag quilts, wall hangings and placemats, garden art and folks art, will be available as will dried and silk flower wreaths, decorative crosses, wood boxes, trivets and furniture.
Potpourri, herbs, teas and honey will also be for sale.
Wearable art such as crochet hats, scar ves and slippers, children’s clothing, hair bows and clips, fabric bags and bead, clay, silver, sea glass, metal and gemstone jewelr y will also be available along with fresh flowers and plants, handmade soaps, bath oils, and lotions.
Decorative and functional gourd bird houses, bird feeders, purple martin houses and butterfly houses will also be on display as will bow ties for dog collars, Chincoteaque Pony decorated pottery and machine embroider y.
