Guild to host Spring Arts, Crafts Show

ROCK HALL — The Coun­try Crafts Guild will host its an­nual Spring Arts and Crafts Show on Satur­day, March 25, at the Rock Hall Fire House on Rt. 20. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pro­ceeds from the $2 ad­mis­sion will ben­e­fit the Rock Hall Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany. Chil­dren un­der ten are ad­mit­ted for free.

Re­fresh­ments and lunch will be avail­able on top of a bake sale by the Rock Hall Fire Com­pany Ladies Aux­il­iar y.

The Coun­try Crafts Guild mem­bers will have a wide va­ri­ety of beau­ti­ful spring flow­ers, dec­o­ra­tions and crafts on dis­play. Hand­made col­lectibles such as house plaques and fig­urines, pot­ter y lamps, vases and dishes, pieced quilts and rag quilts, wall hang­ings and place­mats, gar­den art and folks art, will be avail­able as will dried and silk flower wreaths, dec­o­ra­tive crosses, wood boxes, triv­ets and fur­ni­ture.

Pot­pourri, herbs, teas and honey will also be for sale.

Wear­able art such as cro­chet hats, scar ves and slip­pers, chil­dren’s cloth­ing, hair bows and clips, fab­ric bags and bead, clay, sil­ver, sea glass, metal and gem­stone jew­elr y will also be avail­able along with fresh flow­ers and plants, hand­made soaps, bath oils, and lo­tions.

Dec­o­ra­tive and func­tional gourd bird houses, bird feed­ers, pur­ple martin houses and but­ter­fly houses will also be on dis­play as will bow ties for dog col­lars, Chin­coteaque Pony dec­o­rated pot­tery and ma­chine em­broi­der y.
