Deputies investigating thefts from vehicles
QUEENSTOWN — Deputies with the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a string of thefts from vehicles in the Bishop Meadows community in Queenstown that was reported on March 10, a police report stated.
After receiving multiple reports of cars being tampered with, the Sheriff’s Office is seeking the community’s help in identifying the three suspects involved.
Videos from the area show three suspects checking to see if cars were unlocked between the hours of 1:30 and 2:30 a.m. from other residences, the report stated. None of the vehicles were damaged.
One victim reported the theft of $5 in coins from her Ford truck, and another victim reported the theft of $60 from her husband’s vehicle, the police report stated. Both vehicles were reportedly unlocked.
