Deputies in­ves­ti­gat­ing thefts from ve­hi­cles

QUEEN­STOWN — Deputies with the Queen Anne’s County Sher­iff’s Of­fice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a string of thefts from ve­hi­cles in the Bishop Mead­ows community in Queen­stown that was re­ported on March 10, a po­lice re­port stated.

Af­ter re­ceiv­ing mul­ti­ple re­ports of cars be­ing tam­pered with, the Sher­iff’s Of­fice is seek­ing the community’s help in iden­ti­fy­ing the three sus­pects in­volved.

Videos from the area show three sus­pects check­ing to see if cars were un­locked be­tween the hours of 1:30 and 2:30 a.m. from other res­i­dences, the re­port stated. None of the ve­hi­cles were dam­aged.

One vic­tim re­ported the theft of $5 in coins from her Ford truck, and an­other vic­tim re­ported the theft of $60 from her hus­band’s ve­hi­cle, the po­lice re­port stated. Both ve­hi­cles were re­port­edly un­locked.
