• • • NEW CLUB BEGINS The Library’s new Genealogy and Local History Club will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, April 19, at 5:30 p.m. Share your research tools, techniques and struggles with other local genealogists. Sign up today at qaclibrary.org.

REQUIRED Registration is required two weeks in advance for the DIY Spring Wreath making class on April 12 and April 24 at the Library. The first class is April 12 at 5:30 p.m. and the second is April 24 at 2:30 p.m. You may register online at qaclibrary.org. All materials will be supplied by the Librar y.
• • • FUNTIME IN APRIL Miss Jenny has plenty of fun times lined up for young people in April, starting off April 6 and 20 for those in grades K–8, at 5:30 p.m. for Tinker Time when the young people can tinker with the items in our tinker box. Each week we will have different STEAM challenges to tinker with.
On April 7 and 21, those ages birth through two years with adult, can enjoy an hour of unstructured play and social time at 10 a.m. We will have books and developmentally appropriate toys where caregivers can introduce their little ones to the Library, make new friends and play.
All those in grades K–5 will want to be at the Library on Thursday, April 13, at 2:30 p.m. to create a science show by choosing the experiments. Take part in demonstrations including liquid nitrogen, chemical mixing and combustion reactions.
Young people in grades 3–6 can create bugs with light up LED eyes in a fun way to learn about circuits on Monday, April 17, at 2:30 p.m.
All ages are invited to come to the Library on Tuesday, April 18, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. top lay with our LEGO bricks.
