Prom Prom­ise demon­stra­tion set April 25 at QACHS

CEN­TRE­VILLE — On Tues­day, April 25, from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m. in the Queen Anne’s County High School bus park­ing lot on 125 Ruths­burg Road there will be an ac­ci­dent scene staged as a part of the an­nual Prom Prom­ise, an ed­u­ca­tional drama­ti­za­tion on the con­se­quences of im­paired driv­ing and to pro­mote safe driv­ing choices.

Emer­gency equip­ment from the Queen Anne’s County Depart­ment of Emer­gency Ser vices, Good­will Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany, Queen Anne’s County Of­fice of the Sher­iff, Cen­tre­ville Po­lice Depart­ment, Queen Anne’s County Vol­un­teer Fire and EMS Com­mis­sion and a Mary­land State Po­lice he­li­copter will be staged in the school park­ing lot. The Queen Anne’s County State’s At­tor­ney Of­fice and Fel­lows, Helfen­bein and New­nam Fu­neral Home will also join in the pre­sen­ta­tion to QACHS ju­niors and se­niors.
