BOOK TALK APRIL 22 Crime and a cuppa tea with our new se­ries of book talks at the Li­brary on Sat­ur­day, April 22, from 2 to 3 p.m. It will fea­ture mur­der, mys­tery and may­hem with a dis­tinc­tive Bri­tish fla­vor. En­joy a cup of tea while Kath­leen in­tro­duces you to a va­ri­ety of au­thors and se­ries that you might have over­looked in your li­brary brows­ing.

••• ADULT EX­PLOR­ERS The Li­brary will have a pro­gram on June 1 de­signed for adults with spe­cial needs or learn­ing dis­abil­i­ties. You will paint, color, build and cre­ate! Discover your cre­ative side, make new friends and have fun when you join us for an hour of un­struc­tured ex­plo­ration. This will take place on June 1 at 2:30 p.m. and again on June 15 and 29 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. You may reg­is­ter for the pro­gram online at qa­cli­ ••• PET-A-PALOOZA IN MAY Join us for the Li­brary’s big 5th an­nual Pet-A-Palooza on May 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will have all types of ven­dors, along with an­i­mal res­cue groups, an­i­mal care ex­perts, a pup­pet show, silly songs with Sam and prizes ga­lore. It will be a lot of fun for the en­tire fam­ily.

••• FILM & DIS­CUS­SION Racial dis­par­ity in the Crim­i­nal Jus­tice Sys­tem will be a pro­gram over two days his month at the Li­brary. A screen­ing of the doc­u­men­tary “13th” will take place on April 25 at 5:30 p.m., while on April 26 at 6 p.m. we will have a dis­cus­sion led by Wash­ing­ton Col­lege Pro­fes­sor Rachel Durso, Ph.D. Email an­drea@qa­cli­ for fur­ther in­for­ma­tion.
