36th Annual Bay Music Festival is June 10
CENTREVILLE — The Centreville Lions Club will be hosting the 36th annual Bay Music Festival fundraiser on Saturday, June 10 from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Queen Anne’s County 4-H Park near Centreville.
The event will feature 12 bands playing on two stages. Appearing on the main stage will be icon of rockabilly Bird Dog and the Road Kings will world renowned fiddle player Jon Glik sitting in, also playing Pressing Strings, Skribe, the Lee Priddy trio, the Jones Boys, Go with the Flow and Downside Up. The second stage will feature Jillian Taylor, Sarah Paige, AC-DB, Second Chair and children’s entertainer Tracey Eldridge. All of this for the ticket price of only $5 per person, children 10 and under admitted free.
The YMCA of the Chesapeake will be partnering with the Lion’s Club to facilitate children’s games and activities which will include the Scales n’Tales exhibit, Dominc’s Farm petting zoo, a moon bounce, face-painting, balloon art and more. Plenty of great food and cold drink will be available for sale along with artisan craft vendors and a beautiful Paul Reed Smith (PRS) guitar to be raffled off at the event.
