Grasonville man faces drug charges
CHESTER — A passenger in a Dodge Charger pulled over by Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office deputies for a minor traffic infraction was arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession of controlled dangerous substances, according to police.
Brian Labar Taylor, 31, of Grasonville, was placed under arrest for multiple outstanding warrants and, when searched, deputies found less than 10 grams of marijuana, suspected cocaine, 21 Clonazepam pills, three rectangle blue pills and several empty plastic bags on his person, police said.
The car was stopped on Route 18 at Castle Marina Road at 2:13 p.m., police said.
Taylor was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of controlled dangerous substance not marijuana, and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, police said.
The vehicle driver, identified as Brittany Lynn Barrett of Centreville, was issued citations for driving a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license and failure to display license upon demand, police said.
