••• GRAND RE-OPENING The Library in Centreville will be holding a grand re-opening for all to show off the new interior renovations on June 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be a special ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. We will have amazing cupcakes for all along with an interesting Building Bingo. Be sure to be here early for your commemorative glass before supplies run out. The Friends of the Library will be sponsoring Kids Craft and a Book Sale. Look for you on June 24!
••• KIDS READING FREE Yes, all children’s and young adult reading material will have no late fees checked out during the months of June and July. This does not include DVDs or inter library loan items.
••• BUILD A BIRD
HOUSE The first of two DIY Workshops at the Library will be held June 21 at 6 p.m., when you will get a chance to use some power tools, hand tools and paint while creating a bird house to take home. Time will build a better world and birdhouse! It has limited space and registration is required.
••• BOOK DONATION
DAYS Do you have a collection of old, gently used books to get rid of? Friends of the Queen Anne’s County Library are stocking books for the Used Book Nooks at both county libraries. The donation dates and times are June 17, July 15 and Aug. 12, all during the hours of 9 a.m. to noon. The location will be at U-Haul Storage, 461 Pullman Crossing, Grasonville.
