CEN­TRE­VILLE — Wil­liam Jen­nings “Will” Glowacki of Cen­tre­ville, Md., passed away on Tues­day, June 27, 2017, after a long and coura­geous bat­tle with brain can­cer. He was 20.

Born on Dec. 8, 1996, in Columbia, Md., he is the son of Michael and Stephanie Glowacki (nee Can­della) of Cen­tre­ville, Md. Will grew up in Cen­tre­ville and was a grad­u­ate of Queen Anne’s County High School class of 2014. Dur­ing his high school ca­reer, he was a mem­ber of the Na­tional Honor So­ci­ety and co-cap­tain of the state-qual­i­fy­ing golf team in 2013. Will also played base­ball and ten­nis at QACHS. On pic­ture day at QACHS or when field trips were on the ta­ble, he was some­times known for talk­ing his way into clubs/ or­ga­ni­za­tions of which he was not a mem­ber. After high school, he at­tended Tow­son Univer­sity. He was a vi­brant young man with a joy for life who was loved by many.

In ad­di­tion to his par­ents, he is sur­vived by his broth­ers, Joseph Glowacki of Wash­ing­ton, D.C., Thomas Glowacki of Cen­tre­ville, Md.; as well as his ma­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Joe and Eileen Can­della of Grasonville, Md. Wil­liam is also sur­vived by many un­cles, aunts and cousins who loved him dearly, Alice, Tom, MacKen­zie, Josh, Au­drey, An­to­nia, Bryan, Mary, Regan, Al­li­son, Nicholas, Melissa, Joe, Shauna, Lu­cas, Mary, Christo­pher, Sarah, Ted, Diana, Teddy, Daniel, Dy­lan; and by his beloved pup­pies, “Mem­phis” and “Her­cules.” He was pre­ceded in death by his pa­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Kas­mer and Mil­dred Glowacki.

Fam­ily and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. (with memo­rial re­mem­brances at 7 p.m.) on Fri­day, July 7, at Fel­lows, Helfen­bein & New­nam Funeral Home P.A., Cen­tre­ville, Md. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m.
