••• COM­PUTER WORK­SHOP There will be one more Com­puter Work­shop at the Li­brary on July 19, at 2, 3, and 4 p.m. You may pick your own topic at this oneon-one ses­sion. We will have Com­put­ers for Begin­ners; Mi­crosoft pro­grams (Word, Ex­cel, Pub­lisher, etc...); Win­dows 8, Win­dows 10, in­ter­net, email, li­brary ser­vices, tablets and smart­phones.

••• DIY WORK­SHOP Also on July 19, at 6 p.m., we will have an­other DIY Work­shop dur­ing the Li­brary’s Build a Bet­ter World sum­mer read­ing time. This is for Chalk­boards, where you can cre­ate a great piece for your house or dec­o­rate your pa­tio. Get a chance to be hands-on with tools and tell ev­ery­one you made it your­self. There is lim­ited class space, and reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired. Check at the Cir­cu­la­tion Desk to­day.

••• CRIME AND A CUPPA You will want to come to the Li­brary on July 22 at 2 p.m. for the lat­est Crime and A Cup[pa with Kath­leen as she talks about in­ter­na­tional mys­tery au­thors. Reg­is­tra­tion is pre­ferred, so check at the Cir­cu­la­tion Desk or go to www.qa­cli­brary.org.

••• KIDS STILL READ FREE

Yes, all young­sters will be read­ing free through July as there will be no late fees on chil­dren’s or young adult ma­te­rial dur­ing this month. This ex­cludes all DVDs and in­ter­li­brary loan items.

••• DO­NATE BOOKS Book do­na­tion day in July for the Friends of the Queen Anne’s County Li­brary is Satur­day, July 15, from 9 a.m. to noon at the U-Haul Stor­age, 461 Pull­man Cross­ing, Gra­sonville. If you have books, DVDs or CDs you are will­ing to part with, the Friends of the Li­brary col­lect them to stock their used book nooks at both county li­braries this sum­mer.
