••• MATI­NEE MOVIE The Cen­tre­ville Branch will hold a free mati­nee movie in August and Septem­ber, both at 2:30 p.m. The August movie on the 11th will be, “King Arthur: Leg­end of the Sword,” and on Sept. 8 we will be show­ing, “The Mummy.”


Both county li­braries are join­ing other pub­lic li­braries on the Eastern Shore to create a new Shore-wide cat­a­log and there will be dis­rup­tions tak­ing place. • Both li­braries will be closed all day Aug. 8 and 9 for staff train­ing. • No holds on items will be taken Aug. 1-17. There will be no ac­cess to the in­ter­li­brary loan sys­tem Aug. 1-23. • Start­ing Aug. 9 you will not be able to ac­cess your ac­count on­line. • From Aug. 11 through Aug. 16 we will only be able to check-out items, and pa­trons will need their li­brary card to check-out. There will be no check-ins or holds placed and we will not have ac­cess to pa­tron records. • Both branches will open at 1 p.m. on “Go Live Day” on Aug. 17. HOW THESE CHANGES AF­FECT YOU: • All li­brary mem­bers must save their read­ing his­to­ries and lists by Aug. 9. Af­ter that date, all read­ing his­to­ries and lists will be deleted due to the tran­si­tion. Li­brary staff can as­sist you with this. • There will be no li­brary ma­te­rial due be­tween Aug. 8–21. Do not re­turn ma­te­ri­als dur­ing that time. It will be a great help to us and you will not be charged fines. • In the new sys­tem your de­fault PIN will be the last four dig­its of your pri­mary phone num­ber.
