POLARIS ORI­EN­TA­TION There will be two Polaris Ori­en­ta­tion com­puter classes in Au­gust and reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired. They will be held on Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. and again on Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. Now is the time to dis­cover more about our new com­puter sys­tem: Polaris. ••• AN­NUAL BOOK SALE Friends of Queen Anne’s County Li­brary will be hold­ing their 4th an­nual Book Sale on Satur­day, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both branches in Cen­tre­ville and Kent Is­land. Bar­gain books for all ages and read­ing lev­els. Hard­backs, pa­per­backs, DVDs, Au­dio, $1 each; Pock­et­book pa­per­backs, 25 cents each; Chil­dren’s books, 25 cents each, or fill a bag for $10. The sale ben­e­fits the li­brary’s pro­grams and ser­vices. If you do not be­long to Friends group you may join the or­ga­ni­za­tion on Fri­day, Aug. 25, for $25 and get ac­cess to all sale items.

Books will be avail­able for pur­chase and au­thor sign­ing.
