Having previously lived on Kent Island for almost 17 years, my husband and I watched the amazing coverage by Baltimore TV stations of the tornado effects. Someone placed a projected path drawing of the EF2 Tornado over the island.

Many people expressed how lucky they were, or said they were grateful.

I believe God’s grace protected the people of the island.

Neighbors helping one another. Immediate response by local fire, police, and others came in droves. They all deserve our thanks.

The ONE who deserves our heartfelt gratitude is the God of creation.

He is and was the shelter from the storms of life, not just the newsworthy ones.
