Microbrewery coming to former Acme site
SALISBURY — SVN/Miller Commercial Real Estate Senior Advisor Chris Davis collaborated with Marley Welsh of Lee and Associates to lease 1118 Main St. in Stevensville. The 24,000-square-foot grocery store will become home to an upcoming microbrewery. Glass Valve Brewing is expected to open its doors in the coming months and will be the area’s largest microbrew location. Davis represented the landlord, and Welsh represented the tenant in this deal.
“Recently, SVN Miller Advisors have worked with several local breweries in Wicomico and Worcester counties,” said Davis. “Seeing the positive effect they have had on local economic development solidifies my opinion that Glass Valve Brewing will attract attention from both sides of the Bay Bridge and be an asset to the town.”
Glass Valve Brewing has leased the old Acme supermarket building in Kent Island Shopping Center.
