LEARN TO USE CANUA

Come to the Li­brary on Sept. 7 at 1:30 p.m. to learn how to use Canua. All mar­keters, blog­gers and small busi­ness own­ers will learn about a free graphic de­sign pro­gram to en­hance your prod­uct. Cre­ate unique de­signs or edit a tem­plate. TRIVIA NIGHT Reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired for Trivia Night at the Li­brary on Sept. 20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This event of book­ish knowl­edge will have four rounds, with first, sec­ond and third place prizes. Teams can be made up of one to four per­sons. This event is for 21 and older, and is BYOB. Fin­ger food and wa­ter will be avail­able. Reg­is­ter at qa­cli­brary.org.

ONE-ON-ONE WORK­SHOPS We will have one-on-one work­shops for com­puter classes at the Li­brary on Aug. 29 at 9, 10 and 11 a.m.; again on Aug. 31 at 3, 4 and 5 p.m. You pick your time and your topic: com­put­ers for be­gin­ners, Mi­crosoft pro­grams, Win­dows 8, Win­dows 10, in­ter­net, email, li­brary ser­vices, tablets and smart­phones. SE­NIOR YOGA HERE Every­body Yoga joins the Li­brary for a yoga class just for se­niors on Satur­day, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m. This Se­nior/Chair Yoga will im­prove your strength, flex­i­bil­ity and mo­bil­ity through stand­ing or seated yoga poses spe­cially adapted for se­niors (55 and older) at any level of health and fit­ness. Reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired at the li­brary.

BREAK­FAST BOOK

CLUB The Break­fast Book Club will be meet­ing the sec­ond Thurs­day of the month be­gin­ning on Thurs­day, Oct. 12, at 9:30 a.m. Reg­is­tra­tion is strongly sug­gested for this early morn­ing book club to meet over a book, pas­tries and cof­fee. The book ti­tle for Oc­to­ber is, “No One Is Com­ing To Save Us,” by Stephanie Pow­ell Watts.

BOOK SALE SATUR­DAY

There will be a book sale at both li­braries this Satur­day, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be books at bar­gain prices for all ages and read­ing lev­els. All hard­backs, pa­per­backs, DVDs and Au­dio, $1 each; pock­et­book pa­per­backs, 25 cents each; chil­dren’s books, 25 cents each; or you can fill a bag for $10.
