CENTREVILLE — Computer skills for even the basic recruit will be taught at the Centreville Branch of the Queen Anne’s County Library through the month of September.
Registration will be required for the Computer Boot Camp over four days starting Sept. 25. You will be able to jumpstart your tech skills with these classes. Each session will begin at 9 a.m. and run for 45 minutes.
On Sept. 25, it will be Mouse and Keyboard drills. Sept. 26, we will have navigating Windows. We will explore the internet on Sept. 27; and on Sept. 28, it will be Internet Search Tactics.

CENTREVILLE — The Queen Anne’s Soil Conservation District in partnership with the local USDA – Natural Resources Conservation Service will host the annual Local Work Group Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m. at the QASCD Office, 211 E. Water Street in Centreville.
The SCD will be seeking assistance in determining what practices or systems should receive priority funding for Fiscal Year 2018. Discussion will include a review of current fiscal year decisions and provide input on prioritizing local natural resource concerns for 2018 in Queen Anne’s County and statewide across all USDA-NRCS Farm Bill Program.
