made birdies ranging from 1 birdie (18) to 5 birdies (1) during the season.
Marie Rogosky, the first Queen Anne’s County Blue Heron Golf Course manager, introduced her former golf shop attendant, Maxine Guertler, and explained how the two of them discovered that they both currently live in Charles Village in Baltimore. Several years ago, Guertler painted a picture
of the original golf shop which was demolished when the golf course became an 18-hole course in 2002. Guertler presented the painting to Eric Beaufait, golf pro and manager of the current golf course. The painting will hang in the present day golf shop to remind ever yone how far the course has come since the county assumed ownership from the Queen Anne’s Colony community back in 1983.
Next season will begin on April 2, 2018. For information about the 2017 Blue Heron Ladies Golf League, visit www.BlueHeronGolf.org or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
