Crash in Sudlersville, one injured
SUDLERSVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into a single vehicle that happened around noon July 6 near Leager Road and Sudlersville Road in Sudlersville.
Queen Anne’s Emergency Services personnel found a 19-year-old Maydel man in a Hyundai passenger car in the field. The driver was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma to receive treatment for his injuries. By Wedneday, July 11, he had been released from the hospital, a hospital spokesman said.
According to Cpl. Brad Martz, the preliminary investigation indicates the driver lost control of his car and drove off the road into the field.The vehicle bearing a Mississippi registration, was disabled and removed by a tow company. The Sheriff’s Office reconstruction team is conducting further investigation into the crash.
