Crossroads Community celebrates 35 years
CENTREVILLE — Crossroads Community, Inc. has operated as a community based behavioral health provider on the Mid-Shore in Queen Anne’s, Dorchester, Caroline and Talbot counties. The agency began modestly with two staff serving six adults in 1983. Today it celebrates 35 years of continuous operation to the community with 72 staff serving a total of 257 adults, children and youth in all programs and services including psychiatric rehabilitation, residential rehabilitation, supported employment, health home, case management, respite and youth and young adult services.
According to John Plaskon, Executive Director, “Investing in staff, our greatest asset, is a no-brainer. We planned this daylong festive event at Camp Wright as a way to rejuvenate staff resiliency to support the clients’ mental health recovery.”
