Pig candy and more treats at Lol­lapolooza

If you’re look­ing to get porked at Lol­la­palooza this year, you’re in luck—the new Chow Town of­fer­ings in­clude Pork & Mindy’s with pig candy candied ba­con and The Pur­ple Pig with gy­ros, along with seven other new guys. The 35-restau­rant lineup of el­e­vated lo­cal eats was cu­rated again this year by lo­cal won­der and for­mer “MasterChef ” judge Gra­ham El­liot, who serves a mean lob­ster corn­dog at the Gra­ham El­liot Bistro stand.

Other new­bies in­cludes Mo­mo­fuku Milk Bar bak­ery with slices of crack pie; West Loop’s Mad So­cial with chicken and waf­fles; Green­ridge Farm; Harold’s Chicken; Kil­wins Choco­lates, Fudge & Ice Cream; La Mex­i­cana; and Bella Ba­ci­nos (re­turn­ing from 2013). Back again this year are Chubby Wieners, Wow Bao, County Bar­beque, M Burger and more. See the full list be­low.

While the farm­ers mar­ket isn’t re­turn­ing, the fest will in­clude one-stop shop bode­gas with quick snacks, such as gra­nola bars, trail mix and fresh fruit, and drug store ne­ces­si­ties like pon­chos, ban­dages and sun­block, lo­cated on Colum­bus Drive at the Jack­son Drive and Balbo Av­enue in­ter­sec­tions.

Lol­la­palooza ex­panded to four days this year with head­lin­ers Ra­dio­head, Red Hot Chili Pep­pers, LCD Soundsys­tem and J. Cole.
