The half-hour comedy series about a recent medical school graduate who tries to become a therapist by seeing patients in his parents’ garage is set to premiere March 16 on NBC’s streaming comedy service Seeso. The series, from Second City alumnus Tim Baltz and “The Daily Show” alumnus Ted Tremper, filmed in the fall on the Northwest Side.
The indie, by Chicago filmmaker Jennifer Reeder, is about a Pakistani Muslim lesbian living in Chicago and caring for her TVobsessed mother. The movie filmed in the city over the summer with an expected 2017 release.
Harvey is slated to end production of his daytime talk show at the WMAQ-Ch. 5 studios in May and start a new show in Los Angeles in September.
