“Death Wish”

Bruce Wil­lis stars in the re­boot of 1974’s “Death Wish,” which filmed some ac­tion scenes in Chicago in the fall. The Eli Roth film is ex­pected to be re­leased in 2017. Vin­cent D’Onofrio (“Law and Or­der: Crim­i­nal In­tent”) and Dean Nor­ris (“Break­ing Bad”) also star.

Dick Wolf’s Chicago-set shows

Four se­ries set and filmed in Chicago now make up the NBC fran­chise. A crossover event fea­tur­ing the casts of “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” aired Jan. 3, and the sec­ond half of the sec­ond sea­son of “Chicago Med” also be­gan air­ing last week. “Chicago Jus­tice,” the new­est spinoff, is sched­uled to pre­miere 8 p.m. March 5.

“Em­pire”

New episodes of Fox’s hip-hop fam­ily drama, which is filmed in Chicago but set in New York, are ex­pected to be­gin air­ing March 22.

“In­ver­sion”

Sa­muel L. Jack­son is set to star in the sci-fi dis­as­ter movie by di­rec­tor Peter Se­gal (“50 First Dates”). Pro­duc­tion, which is ex­pected
