Chicago played a huge role in the history of the blues, and the annual
(Oct. 13-15) celebrates those roots—particularly those from the city’s South Side—with a festive collection of concerts, workshops, film, food and more. Blues performers include Wee Willie Walker, Terrie Odabi, Grammy nominee Billy Branch, Elvin Bishop’s Big Fun Trio and local musicians such as Corky Siegel.
