Roanoke teen accused in Radford stabbings
RADFORD — A Roanoke teen is accused in a multiple stabbing in Radford on Thursday.
Elijah Z. Nichols, 18, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, according to a statement that Radford police issued Friday.
Police said that at 10:53 p.m. Thursday, they were called to a reported stabbing in the 1300 block of Lawrence Street. Officers found three people stabbed.
The three victims are Radford University students, as is Nichols. Two victims remained hospitalized Friday with serious injuries and are in good condition, according to a statement by Radford University.
Nichols is being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail.
