Rich­mond po­lice search­ing for man in con­nec­tion with shoot­ing

Rich­mond po­lice are look­ing for an “armed and dan­ger­ous” man wanted in con­nec­tion with a shoot­ing at a Jef­fer­son Davis High­way mo­tel.

Vin­cent Squire is wanted on charges of at­tempted mur­der and use of a firearm in the com­mis­sion of a felony for a shoot­ing on Oct. 4. Po­lice ar­rived at a mo­tel in the 3600 block of Jef­fer­son Davis High­way, where they found a man in the walk­way with a gun­shot wound. The vic­tim was taken to a hospi­tal with life-threat­en­ing in­juries.

Squire is de­scribed as a black male who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs ap­prox­i­mately 155 pounds. He has tat­toos on both arms.

Po­lice said Squire should be con­sid­ered armed and dan­ger­ous, and de­tec­tives urge peo­ple to call 911 if they see him.
