BREWERS WIN GAME 1 OF NLCS 6-5
Milwaukee’s Jesus Aguilar exults with Orlando Arcia after hitting a solo home run off Los Angeles’ Julio Urias in the seventh inning of the Brewers’ 6-5 victory in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series in Milwaukee. Aguilar’s blast gave the Brewers a 6-1 lead, which the Dodgers nearly overcame by scoring three times in the eighth inning and once in the ninth. Domingo Santana had a pinch-hit, tworun single for Milwaukee. Manny Machado homered and drove in three runs for Los Angeles, and former U.Va. standout Chris Taylor had three hits, including an RBI triple in the ninth. Game 2 is Saturday afternoon in Milwaukee.
