Mil­wau­kee’s Je­sus Aguilar ex­ults with Or­lando Ar­cia af­ter hit­ting a solo home run off Los An­ge­les’ Julio Urias in the sev­enth in­ning of the Brew­ers’ 6-5 vic­tory in Game 1 of the Na­tional League Cham­pi­onship Se­ries in Mil­wau­kee. Aguilar’s blast gave the Brew­ers a 6-1 lead, which the Dodgers nearly over­came by scor­ing three times in the eighth in­ning and once in the ninth. Domingo San­tana had a pinch-hit, tworun sin­gle for Mil­wau­kee. Manny Machado home­red and drove in three runs for Los An­ge­les, and for­mer U.Va. stand­out Chris Tay­lor had three hits, in­clud­ing an RBI triple in the ninth.
