N.J. developer buys 80 acres in Henrico
An 80-acre parcel in eastern Henrico County planned for residential development with a small village shopping center has been sold to a New Jersey developer.
The site, off Williamsburg Road west of Interstate 295, was bought by
Salvatore Cangiano for $1.35 million, according to commercial brokerage CBRE|Richmond, which represented the seller, Essex Bank, in the transaction.
The property could have up to 230 town houses and 43 single-family homes under Cangiano’s conceptual plan. Henrico supervisors approved the rezoning request in August.
The sale transaction was handled by Zach Roski and Tom Vozenilek of CBRE|Richmond.
