STUDENTS’ ARTWORK FRONT AND CENTER
Dean Whitbeck, youth education director for the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, prepared Thursday for today’s opening of “Half Visible. Half Invisible” at the center. Middle school students’ artwork created during the center’s Art After School program will be on display until Jan. 20 and will be a “hands on exhibit,” Whitbeck said. The center is located at 1812 W. Main St.
Students from the Faison Center, a facility in Henrico County serving people with autism, created medals they would give themselves during the Visual Arts Center’s Art After School program.
