REYNOLDS, Sean Rodway,
20, was killed in an auto accident October 6, 2017. We are comforted by the knowledge that he is with God. Sean graduated from Benedictine College Preparatory with Honors. He was Pipe Sergeant of the School’s Pipe & Drum Corps. He was also a member of St. Andrew’s Legion Pipes & Drums. He was honored to play with the Corps in Normandy, France to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of DDay. Sean was working for Reynolds Development as an Assistant Project Manager. Sean loved his family, our dogs and his music. We will miss his big blue eyes, his sarcastic wit, his winning smile and most of all, his hugs. When Sean hugged you, you knew you had been hugged - they were just the best! Sean will be missed by his beloved parents, Karen Sparkes Reynolds, Randy and Clay Reynolds Jr.; "best buds" brothers, Randy, Chris and Adam Reynolds; nephew, Gage Reynolds; grandparents, Larry Sparkes, Randy and Susan Reynolds Sr., and Barbro Caperton, all of Richmond; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sean was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Duthoy Sparkes. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 12291 River Road, where a memorial ceremony will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 17. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Benedictine Pipe & Drum Corps in memory of Sean.
