89, of Ch­ester­field, was called home on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 9, 2017. She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; her husband, Ju­lian Clarke; her two sons, Clin­ton and Ju­lian Clarke; and her two broth­ers, Richard Goode and James Camp­bell. She leaves to cel­e­brate her life and cher­ish her mem­ory, her eight chil­dren, Juanita Townes, John Clarke, Yvonne Clarke, Pas­tor Francine Gary, Ann In­gram, Pas­tor San­dra Draper, Giselle Askew and An­gela Toombs; 30 grand­chil­dren, 83 great-grand­chil­dren, 36 great-great-grand­chil­dren and a host of other fam­ily friends and chil­dren she called her own, in­clud­ing Bar­bara Howard; also among those her de­voted life-long friends, Vir­ginia Watkins, Juanita Har­ri­son; cousin, Dorothy White­head; and her de­voted care­givers, Giselle Askew and Coetina Law. The funeral will be held at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, Rich­mond, Va., at 12 p.m. on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 15, 2017. In­ter­ment will be at Guild­field Bap­tist Church, 2550 Manakin­town Ferry Rd., Mid­loth­ian, Va.
