of Gum Spring, Vir­ginia, went to be with the Lord on Novem­ber 11, 2017. She was pre­ceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Marvin Cle­ments. She is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Wayne Cle­ments, Edith Hall (Al), Lawrence Cle­ments (Deb­o­rah), John Cle­ments (Su­san), David Cle­ments and Ellen Cle­ments; 10 grand­chil­dren, six great­grand­chil­dren; her brother, Henry Foster (Kay); and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. She was de­voted to tak­ing care of her fam­ily, en­joyed at­tend­ing church reg­u­larly and wor­ship­ping with fam­ily and friends. She en­joyed gar­den­ing, read­ing and mu­sic and was par­tic­u­larly a fan of old time coun­try and gospel mu­sic. Mar­garet was known for her gen­tle and kind spirit and love for all of God’s cre­ation. She was deeply loved by her fam­ily and will be greatly missed. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends from 5 un­til 8 p.m. on Tues­day, Novem­ber 14, at Lacy Funeral Home, Rt. 522, Min­eral, Va. A funeral ser­vice will be held at 2 p.m. on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 15, at Gum Spring United Methodist Church. In­ter­ment will fol­low in the church ceme­tery.
