Man­teca’s girls ten­nis team re­mains per­fect in the Val­ley Oak League fol­low­ing a dom­i­nant ef­fort against host East Union on Thurs­day.

It was a quick visit for the Buf­faloes, who won 9-0 while los­ing just two games. Man­teca (4-0 VOL, 6-1 over­all) has two more road matches next week, against Lathrop and Kim­ball, be­fore wel­com­ing co-lead­ing Oak­dale on Sept. 26.

East Union’s Is­abel

Moreno avoided a shutout at No. 2 sin­gles in her 1-6, 0-6 loss to Ko­ryn Me­nasco. The Lancers’ No. 2 dou­bles team of Sarah Co­hoon and Na­dia Car­dona lost to Ju­lianne Eaven­son and Kaileah Jo­hann­son 0-6, 1-6.

Ju­lia Tang, Tay­lor Corona, Makenna Con­dit, Sahiba Kaur and Stephanie Mer­cado all rolled to 6-0, 6-0 sweeps. No. 1 dou­bles part­ners Ravneet Dhillon and Nav­ina Mann and No.

3 Noeli Mar­cado and Melissa Poncini also scored shutouts.

Sierra 9, We­ston Ranch 0 STOCK­TON — The No. 3 sin­gles match was the most com­pet­i­tive, with Sierra’s Melanie Nguyen out­last­ing Jus­tice Stitt, 6-3, 6-2.

Kait­lyn Rausa (6-1, 6-0), Na­dia Petro­vic (6-1, 6-1), El­lie Kim (6-0, 6-0), Syd­ney Huynh (6-0, 6-0) and Natlie Root­saert (6-0, 6-2) dom­i­nated in sin­gles play.

Dou­bles win­ners were Alyssa Pat­ter­son/Amaya Baluyut

(6-1, 6-2), Dianna Due­nas/Joyce Se­bas­tian (6-1, 6-0) and Seerit Gill/Mikayla Coburn (6-0, 6-2).

Oak­dale 8, Lathrop 1 Ber­nice Vilches ac­counted for Lathrop’s only point with a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 6 sin­gles at Man­teca Re­gional Ten­nis Cen­ter.

An­gela Ale­gado chal­lenged Oak­dale No. 1 Li­jian Bu­cad but dropped a 5-7, 2-6 de­ci­sion. Kim Vic­to­ria threat­ened to force a third set in the No. 3 sin­gles match but fell short 1-6, 6-7 against Macken­zie Brown.
