French Camp Jerry Bradley September 9, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Bradley on September 9, 2017 in Tracy, California. Jerry Bradley was born in Gastonia, North Carolina but resided in French Camp, California for the last 58 years.
Jerry was an Air Force veteran. He was in the fire service for 30 years and he retired at the rank of Assistant Chief. For many years he was a columnist, sports writer and movie critic for the Manteca News. He served on several association boards and supported several charities in the French Camp community and in 1987 he was selected as “Man of the Year”. He was an excellent athlete and an avid sports fan who loved traveling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Beverly, his daughter Debbie Kaphengst and his son
Manteca Linda Deen September 23, 1947-August 28, 2017
Linda Deen went home to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband and children on August 28, 2017.
She was born September 23, 1947 to Leslie and Molly Richards in Maude, Oklahoma where she spent much of her childhood. She enjoyed the outdoors mainly riding horses on into her adulthood.
Linda’s first passion was studying her bible, which helped her tremendously in raising her six children. She was a fantastic homemaker, cook, and going to school activities to watch her children excel in sports.
The last fourteen years of her life was spent in Manteca, California with her loving husband Jesse Deen. They enjoyed praying and fellowshiping with each other, trips to the coast and Yosemite we really enjoyed fishing together. Randall (Dana) Bradley. He is survived by his grandchildren Todd (Wendy) Bradley, Shane (Lura) Kaphengst, Kati Bradley, Jessica Collette and Ronnie Collette. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, Wyatt and triplets Ally, Sydney and Carly.
He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Bradley and his father Clarence Hewitt.
Services will be held at Park View Memorial Chapel, in French Camp, California on Wednesday, September 20, at 10:00 a.m.
Manteca (Calif.) Bulletin Friday, September 15, 2017 She leaves behind her husband, Jesse Deen, her six children, David (Senaida) Webb, Daniel (Kelly) Webb, Lorri Doneyson (Terry Lambert), Linda “Pewee” Wright (Ray Conner) and Dale Jr. “Tyke” (Dawn) Clift. She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. All that knew her will remember her as a very strong, spiritual person.
A private memorial service was held at Freedom Christian Center in Manteca, with Pastor Doug and Stephanie Wheeler officiating.
