French Camp Jerry Bradley Septem­ber 9, 2017

It is with great sad­ness that we an­nounce the pass­ing of Jerry Bradley on Septem­ber 9, 2017 in Tracy, Cal­i­for­nia. Jerry Bradley was born in Gas­to­nia, North Carolina but resided in French Camp, Cal­i­for­nia for the last 58 years.

Jerry was an Air Force vet­eran. He was in the fire ser­vice for 30 years and he re­tired at the rank of As­sis­tant Chief. For many years he was a colum­nist, sports writer and movie critic for the Man­teca News. He served on sev­eral as­so­ci­a­tion boards and sup­ported sev­eral char­i­ties in the French Camp com­mu­nity and in 1987 he was se­lected as “Man of the Year”. He was an ex­cel­lent ath­lete and an avid sports fan who loved trav­el­ing and spend­ing time with his fam­ily.

He is sur­vived by his lov­ing wife of 58 years, Bev­erly, his daugh­ter Deb­bie Kaphengst and his son

Man­teca Linda Deen Septem­ber 23, 1947-Au­gust 28, 2017

Linda Deen went home to be with the Lord peace­fully, sur­rounded by her lov­ing hus­band and chil­dren on Au­gust 28, 2017.

She was born Septem­ber 23, 1947 to Les­lie and Molly Richards in Maude, Ok­la­homa where she spent much of her child­hood. She en­joyed the out­doors mainly rid­ing horses on into her adult­hood.

Linda’s first pas­sion was study­ing her bi­ble, which helped her tremen­dously in rais­ing her six chil­dren. She was a fan­tas­tic home­maker, cook, and go­ing to school ac­tiv­i­ties to watch her chil­dren ex­cel in sports.

The last four­teen years of her life was spent in Man­teca, Cal­i­for­nia with her lov­ing hus­band Jesse Deen. They en­joyed pray­ing and fel­low­ship­ing with each other, trips to the coast and Yosemite we re­ally en­joyed fish­ing to­gether. Randall (Dana) Bradley. He is sur­vived by his grand­chil­dren Todd (Wendy) Bradley, Shane (Lura) Kaphengst, Kati Bradley, Jessica Col­lette and Ron­nie Col­lette. He is also sur­vived by four great grand­chil­dren, Wy­att and triplets Ally, Syd­ney and Carly.

He was pre­ceded in death by his mother Martha Bradley and his fa­ther Clarence He­witt.

Ser­vices will be held at Park View Memo­rial Chapel, in French Camp, Cal­i­for­nia on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 20, at 10:00 a.m.

Man­teca (Calif.) Bul­letin Fri­day, Septem­ber 15, 2017 She leaves be­hind her hus­band, Jesse Deen, her six chil­dren, David (Se­naida) Webb, Daniel (Kelly) Webb, Lorri Doneyson (Terry Lam­bert), Linda “Pe­wee” Wright (Ray Con­ner) and Dale Jr. “Tyke” (Dawn) Clift. She also leaves be­hind 21 grand­chil­dren and 16 great grand­chil­dren. All that knew her will re­mem­ber her as a very strong, spir­i­tual per­son.

A pri­vate memo­rial ser­vice was held at Free­dom Chris­tian Cen­ter in Man­teca, with Pas­tor Doug and Stephanie Wheeler of­fi­ci­at­ing.
