MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, JOANN BEATTIE

Ripon Bulletin - - Manteca Chamber Corner - Joann BEATTIE

It’s been very busy this month around the Chamber. We’ve had several Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings for new businesses. It’s so important that the people of Manteca frequent our local businesses. Keeping our spending within our local community, helps to make it thrive. It also brings more revenue to the city for much needed services such as fire, police, road maintenance and more. Supporting our local businesses also helps to employ our citizens. It’s a good idea all around!

The Chamber is now accepting applications for our Christmas in the Park event coming up on December 1st and 2nd and entries for our Holiday Parade. We will have food trucks, craft/vendor booths, Holiday Cheer Garden, a Christmas Tree/Scene decorating contest, and activities for the kids. Activities will include “Reindeer Rides”, a Snow Hill, Hay Rides, Friday night Christmas Movie and more. We will also be hosting our first “Santa Run” on Saturday morning, December 2nd. This run will kick off the City of Manteca’s Centennial Celebration.
