Red Cross, KAT Host Thursday Blood Drive
Get ready to kick up your boots and roll up your sleeve this summer by donating blood with the American Red Cross and KAT 103 Country. The community can help save lives at the “This Is How We Roll” Up Our Sleeve Blood Drive, Thursday, Sept. 7. As a thank you for donating, the first 10 people who come out to donate will receive a pair of tickets to see Florida Georgia Line at the Concord Pavilion show Sept. 15, courtesy of KAT Country.
Fans will have the opportunity to see DJ Walker broadcast live from the Red Cross Stockton Blood Donation Center on Thursday, Sept. 7, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and meet the KAT street crew.
“KAT Country 103 and the Red Cross are calling out to the community to help save lives by donating blood,” said Geri Ostil Hernandez, local market manager, Red Cross West Blood Services Division. “This drive comes at the end of the summer season, which has been a difficult time for the Red Cross to collect enough blood to meet patient needs. Donating at this drive helps ensure blood remains available for hospitals.”
All who present to donate during the Sept. 7 drive also will be entered into a draw- ing to win box seats and VIP Club access at the Concord Pavilion show Sept. 15. In addition, those who come out to give blood will receive a coupon for a free haircut from Sport Clips Haircuts via email several days after their donation. The coupon is valid through Nov. 11, 2017, at participating Sport Clips locations. Donors must have a valid email address on record to receive the coupon.
“This is How We Roll” Up Our Sleeve Blood Drive will be hosted at the Stockton Blood Donation Center, 2888 W. March Lane, Stockton from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7.
