Ci­ti­zen­ship Work­shop

Of­fi­cers from U.S. Ci­ti­zen­ship and Im­mi­gra­tion Ser­vices (USCIS) will present a free one-hour event on Wed­nes­day, May 23 at 6 p.m. cov­er­ing the nat­u­ral­iza­tion process, the civics and English tests, and the rights and re­spon­si­bil­i­ties of U.S. ci­ti­zen­ship at the River­bank Pub­lic Li­brary.

The pub­lic is in­vited to at­tend. A demon­stra­tion ci­ti­zen­ship test will be per­formed, and free ma­te­ri­als will be handed out. This ses­sion is part of a larger USCIS ini­tia­tive to help im­mi­grants bet­ter un­der­stand the many ser­vices avail­able.

The free work­shop on nat­u­ral­iza­tion will be held at the River­bank Pub­lic Li­brary, 3442 Santa Fe St., in River­bank.
