River­bank’s Na­tional Night Out Cel­e­bra­tion

The River­bank com­mu­nity will be cel­e­brat­ing Na­tional Night Out 2018 on Tues­day, Aug. 7 at the Com­mu­nity Cen­ter from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. where sev­eral emer­gency ser­vices and com­mu­nity or­ga­ni­za­tions will be in at­ten­dance. They are sched­uled to in­clude River­bank Po­lice Ser­vices, Stanis­laus Con­sol­i­dated Fire, River­bank Ro­tary, Stanis­laus County Sher­iff Mounted Units, Tar­get, Oak­dale An­i­mal Con­trol, Stanis­laus County S.T.A.R.S., and Lana Clay­ton with State Farm.

There are many ac­tiv­i­ties that are slated for the evening like pony rides, wa­ter bal­loon toss, and much more.

“It will be a chance for peo­ple in the com­mu­nity to meet and speak to some of the folks who help keep their com­mu­nity safe, as well as oth­ers who work in the com­mu­nity,” stated River­bank Com­mu­nity Ser­vices Of­fi­cer Melissa Hardy.

Neigh­bors and law en­force­ment across the na­tion cel­e­brate this day build­ing com­mu­nity and ser­vices part­ner­ships along with ca­ma­raderie. The an­nual cam­paign, among many things, also helps to cre­ate a safe neigh­bor­hood and en­hances re­la­tion­ships.
