Man accused of having synthetic marijuana

A Rome man remained in jail Friday without bond after being accused of having synthetic marijuana. According to jail reports: Spencer William Lee, 32, of 460 Mountain View Road, was arrested Friday at 2:51 p.m. at the intersection of Division Street and Charlton Road when officers saw him with synthetic marijuana.

Lee also attempted to drop the substance on the ground when officers approached him.

Lee is charged with felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and tampering with evidence.
