The Rome Rotary Club will meet Thursday at Coosa Country Club, 110 Branham Ave., at noon. Hannah Cook will talk about Rome Little Theatre.

The Etowah Chapter 4021 of AARP will meet Thursday at 11:30 a.m. This meeting will include installati­on of officers for 2017 fellowship projects, informatio­nal speakers and potluck lunch at the Charles C. Parker Center, 1325 Kingston Road. To join or renew your membership in the Etowah Chapter you must already be a member of the national AARP. The cost for chapter membership is $5 per calendar year. Lutheran Services of Georgia’s Heritage

Adoption Program partners with DFCS to find families for children waiting in Georgia’s foster care system. An informatio­n session will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Rome office, 336 Broad St., above Jefferson’s. Informatio­n sessions are held on the third Thursday of every month.
