TENNIS: Rockmart sweeps Armuchee

The Rockmart tennis teams pulled off a pair of sweeps Wednesday, with the girls and boys winning 5-0 against Armuchee. For the girls (8-1, 3-0 Region 7-AA), No. 1 singles player Emma Evans won 7-5, 4-6, 6-3, No.2 player Mary Ella Owens won 6-0, 6-0 and Taylor McVey won 6-1, 6-0.
