Man accused of damaging home
A Rome man was in jail without bond Monday night after being accused of damaging three TVs and two windows at his home, along with hitting a sign with his car.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Jerry Wayne Sprayberry, 38, of 5 Oreburg Road, was arrested around 10 a.m. Monday. He caused over $500 in damages. Also, the car he was driving did not have insurance.
He is charged with felony criminal damage to property, along with misdemeanor duty upon striking a fixture and driving without insurance.
