Threats to animal land man in jail

A Rome man who allegedly threatened to harm an undisclosed animal has been jailed on a felony terroristic threats charge.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Donnie E. Lingerfelt, of 44 Hatfield Road, was arrested around 12:45 Thursday afternoon at his residence after he threatened to remove the head of an animal. The threat came during an argument with a woman at the home just after noon Thursday.

Lingerfelt was being held in the Floyd County Jail Thursday night without bond.
