10 pressure washers taken from Lowe’s

-

Ten pressure washers were stolen from the front of Lowe’s early Saturday morning in an incident a loss prevention officer believes to have been committed by the same man who stole lawn mowers from the store last year.

According to Rome police reports:

The theft is thought to have taken place sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 8:07 a.m. Saturday. Surveillance footage shows a man walk up to the front of the store at 2338 Shorter Ave. and take two of the pressure washers to the side of the store, near Tammassee Lane. He then repeated this until he had taken 10 of them.

The video does not show if the pressure washers were being taken to a parked vehicle on the side of the store or on Pappalardo Street, which runs along the right side of the business.

The loss prevention officer compared this incident with another one from last year where a man stole lawn mowers from the front of the store. The man in both incidents appears to the same.

The total value of the pressure washers is $3,471, and they varied in price and type.
