Laith Al-Saadi, Brendan Benson rock this weekend

A pair of homegrown music favorites will take their rockin’ to the Internet on Saturday, Nov. 14.

• Ann Arbor guitar hero and “The Voice” finalist Laith Al- Saadi plays a special concert at 8 p.m. from the Ark to benefit it and the Michigan Theater. Admission is free, with proceeds going to Al- Saadi and the venues. Check it out via theark. org/arkfami ly- room- ser ies or michiganth­eater.org.

• Raconteurs co-founder and solo artist Brendan Benson, meanwhile, turns 50 in style with a show at 5: 30 p. m. live- streamed from the 5 Spot in Nashville, where he now resides. Benson will be joined by members of the Shins, Eagles of Death Metal and Neon Castles for the concert. Tickets are $ 15 via noonchorus/cp, brendanben­son.
