- — Submitted by Alison Schwartz

Southfield based nonprofit National Council of Jewish Women, Michigan hosts the free webinar “Post-Election Reflections: Implications for the Future” at 7 p. m. Thursday, Dec. 3.

This webinar features two local editorial journalists with opposing political views – Brian Dickerson, editorial page editor at the Detroit Free Press, and Nolan Finley, editorial page editor at The Detroit News. Attorney Stephen Steinhardt will moderate the event, and there will be a Q& A

with the audience at the end.

“November 3rd’s election defied pollsters’ predictions and our political future seems increasingly

uncertain, so hearing from the editorial pundits will hopefully shed some light on our concerns,” said Irma Glaser, co- state policy advocate for Michigan.

Topics up for discussion will include implications of the recent election results, polarization of national politics, the economy, COVID-19 and misinformation on social media.

This event is the third in a series of webinars called “The Power of Your Vote” held by the National Council of Jewish Women, Michigan to inform the Michigan electorate.
